  • lisa summers

    children's ministry coordinator,

    preschool director & teacher

Lisa has been a member of Falmouth Baptist Church since she and her husband, John, were married in 2007.  She loves that their two boys have grown up in the church with such a wonderful church family.

After her boys attended Falmouth Baptist Church Preschool, Lisa was called to become an aide for the school.  She then took on the Directorship for the program and also became a teacher herself.  God then opened up the opportunity for her to take the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator at the church.

"I can see God working in my life everyday.  I am doing things for Him that I never saw for myself.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve Him at Falmouth Baptist Church."

  • mollie morris

    youth ministry coordinator

Mollie came to know the Lord while attending Falmouth Baptist Church. Although she attended youth group as a teen, it was not until God brought her to Falmouth Baptist where her life changed. Mollie has held various volunteer positions with children and adults throughout the years. Mollie has a background in dental assisting, and decided after 16 years in dentistry to become a stay at home Mom. It was then that the Lord began to work in her heart to draw her near the children and youth programs at Falmouth Baptist.

Mollie and husband, Stuart, have been married for 17 years, and together they live in King George with their three boys (24,16,11), four dogs, two cats, and two lizards. Life is very busy for this family, but they enjoy serving their community and church family.

"My favorite book in the Bible is Ruth. I sometimes feel like I hold too much over me, then I remember sweet Ruth and all she endured. She never let the world around her or her circumstances affect her love for God." ~Mollie~

  • ruth henry

    pianist/organist

In early 2018, Ruth was called to serve as Pianist for Falmouth Baptist Church.

Ruth was raised a "preacher's Kid" in Cheltenham, Maryland, the daughter of a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister, and an elementary school teacher.  Being raised in church, Ruth began playing the piano at a very early age.

As a young adult, Ruth relocated to NC to attend Barton College (Atlantic Christian College).

She served as the pianist for Chadbourn Baptist Church and then as a pianist for the early worship services at St. Paul's Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Raleigh.  Ruth was a Licensed Minister with the NC Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) until her relocation to Stafford in 2004, providing supply preaching for various congregations in NC and Central VA.

Ruth has been in the commercial real estate business for over 20 years.  During her spare time (!), she enjoys playing the piano, crossword puzzles, and Christmas decorating.

Ruth and her husband, Brian (a Stafford native), have been married since 2007; they are the parents to Corey and Sabrina, and "dog parents" to Nikita Jingle, a way-too-friendly Siberian husky.

Ruth believes that "every member is a minister."  Each day, without realizing it, we are given the opportunity to minister to someone in need and bring joy to his or her lives.
