Hello! My name is Lisa Summers and I am the Weekday Preschool Director at Falmouth Baptist Church. I am also serving as the Teacher for our 2018-2019 class. I was an aide for our 3-yrs-old class 2 years ago and am blessed to be given the opportunity to act both as Director of the program and a teacher this year. Both my boys attended the FBC Weekday Preschool for 2 years and loved every minute of it! They had a lot of fun and learned so many things in a kind, caring, Christian environment. I knew that, when the time came, I wanted to be a part of that process for other children. The children are so much fun and I am amazed to see how much they grow in their knowledge, friendships and confidence in the short years they spend with us. Each child is such a blessing, and I am excited to see what God has in store!
My family and I are members of Falmouth Baptist Church and are so thankful to have a wonderful church family here. I enjoy singing, scrapbooking, cooking, and spending time with my family. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the Director of this wonderful ministry.
Hello! My name is Angela Powers. I graduated from James Monroe High School in 1975, and Longwood University in 1979. I met my husband Leslie, the current Pastor of Falmouth Baptist Church, while we both were attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have worked in the Stafford County School System as a teacher's aide with Kindergarteners and have also taught both 3rd and 4th graders in Christian schools.
Leslie and I have 2 adult daughters, Rebecca, age 28, and Marie, age 25. I enjoy teaching a ladies Sunday School class and working in Children's Church at FBC. I am an avid Redskiins fan, and love to spend time reading and being with my family.
