On Monday, March 23, Falmouth Baptist Church was disinfected due to possible contamination from the coronoavirus. This was done as a precaution in light of several members of a family in the church being exposed to the virus. These members were tested with negative results. At present, no Falmouth Baptist Church member has contracted the coronavirus.
To ensure the facilities remain uncontaminated access to all church buildings, for the present, will be restricted. The office will remain closed and all scheduled activites and services suspended.
Wayne Mills, Dolly and our pastor will be at church on Wednesday mornings, and various times over the weekend, to collect the mail, and deposit and write checks. This will be done to encourage FBC members to continue mailing their tithes and offerings to the church as this will be critical to the church's financial stability. Athough it will take about a month to implement, Wayne will be working with our bank to set up online giving through this website.
Our staff is working on putting together an Easter morning worship service to provide the FBC church family an opportunity to participate in worship at home via the internet.
During this unsettling time it will be important for our deacons to keep in touch with their families on a regular basis to keep the FBC family aware of ministry needs.
