Next Generation Ministry Coordinator
Mollie came to know the lord while attending Falmouth Baptist Church. Although she attended youth group as a teen, it was not until God brought her to Falmouth Baptist where her life changed. Mollie has held various volunteer positions with children and adults throughout the years. Mollie has a background in dental assistining, and decided after 16 years in denistry to become a stay at home. It was then that the Lord began to work in her heart to draw her near the children and youth programs at falmouth baptist.
Mollie and husband Stuart have been married for 17 years, and together they live in King George with their three boys (24,16,11), four dogs, two cats, and two lizzards. Life is very busy for this family, but they enjoy serving their community and church family.
"My favorite book in the Bible is Ruth. I sometimes fel like I hold too much over me, then I remember sweet Ruth and all she endevored. She never let the world around her or her cirrumstances affect her love for God." ~Mollie~
Minister of Music
Greetings – my name is Claudette Main, and I serve Falmouth as their Minister of Music. Planning and leading the worship services here at FBC means working alongside some of the most amazing people - and what JOY to serve Jesus with this family of God. Having accepted Christ at age ten in a small Georgia country church, my journey as a child of God has been filled with the challenges and joys every Christian knows. I received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from Shorter College in Rome, GA. and my Master of Church Music from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY.
While serving First Baptist Church in Woodbridge as Minister of Music and Youth, I met my husband, Allen Main of now 39 years. God gave us our beautiful daughter Jennifer and three years later, our handsome son Mark. Now, some twenty years later, we have five additional blessings – Leah, Jonathan, Sam, Daniel, Gabriel, and - our grandchildren.
After teaching at Fredericksburg Christian School for 25 years, I retired to enjoy being a grandmother to these wonderful treasures from God. And now - God seems to be bringing me “full circle” as He allows me once again to serve Him via the music ministry. My “life verse” is Colossians 2:6 & 7 – “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” BLESSINGS!
